Yes, on diesel engines that use CAN communication. Many Class 8 tractors have a round 9-pin diagnostic connector instead of the OBD-II port — an inexpensive 9-pin to OBD-II adapter lets you plug in the G44.
The G44 plugs into the diagnostic port. If your ELD or telematics device uses that same port, you'll need a splitter cable so both can connect. Ask us and we'll help you pick one.

It does not work on 100% electric vehicles. Some heavy trucks and farm equipment use a different 9-pin connector and need an inexpensive adapter.
