From Italy to the road

One engineer. 30 years. One chip.

Engine calibration bench

The G44 was born in Italy. Its creator started his career in the workshops and companies of northern Italy and has spent more than 30 years in the automotive and alternative-fuel industry, specializing in combustion and emissions.

Over his career he has calibrated thousands of engine-control and transmission maps for every kind of vehicle โ€” cars, trucks, farm machinery and industrial engines โ€” worked on projects with major automakers, and sponsored race cars and trucks that reached the podium.

Why he built it

Drivers want an engine that responds better and burns less, but they don't want to rewrite the factory computer. So he designed a plug-in device: it reads the engine in real time through the diagnostic port and works alongside the original computer. Unplug it, and the vehicle is exactly as it was.

Tested in the field

Before reaching drivers, the G44 spent about a year in field tests on trucks, tractors, buses, cars, motorcycles and generators. Today it's used by drivers and fleets in Brazil and Italy, and G44 USA brings it to the United States.

How to use it

  1. Find the port. It's under your steering wheel โ€” the same port a mechanic plugs into. Every gas car and light truck sold in the U.S. since 1996 has one.
  2. Plug it in. No app, no Bluetooth, no settings, no tools. About 60 seconds.
  3. Let it learn. Drive normally: at least 8 starts (key fully off each time) and about 60 miles, or a couple of days. Many drivers feel the difference in the first 10 miles.
